Libya…the chaos we bring ourselves…

If anyone can please take some time to explain to me the real reason we have “liberated” Libya, I am all ears.

Rumblings started a few months ago, UN resolutions get passed and then war breaks out in the East. NATO gets involved, several thousand sorties later, thousands of casualties, and now we find out that surface to air missiles are flowing across Africa.

Well the next time a western airline plane is shot down over Africa using such missiles, we will know to look in the mirror. The manner in which this whole thing has been managed smacks of corporate greed rather than a true political agenda in favor of a nation. I sense this is again, all about oil.

Gaddafi was no saint, yet he was slapped on the wrist enough to know now to fool around with the West. The common enemy, Al Qaeda, was the one that both the West and he were targeting. Like Hussein, he had no love for extremist religious fanatics. And now suddenly we all find out that the leader of the “rebels” is a former Al Qaeda member. Has he reformed? Renounced his old ways? I am not so sure.

So here we are, the ruler is on the run, the country in chaos, the rebels are stealing arms from warehouses because nobody bother to ensured that they would be secured, and all of Africa is being armed with the remnants. What a wonderful web we have weaved…
